Best time to visit Hawaii?

It seems as though even in the roughest economic times, everyone is planning their dream vacation to Hawaii. This beautiful state remains exotic and romantic for so many vacationers. Even people who have been to Hawaii multiple times will tell you about their very first trip, how Hawaii just wrapped her Aloha arms around them and entranced them to fall in love.

Every time I go back to the mainland, someone asks me "what's the best time to visit Hawaii"? Well, the answer is "anytime" of course. We have spectacular weather all of the time. However, the winter months tend to be a little more rainy (Nov-Feb) and the summer months are quite humid.
Another thing to consider when planning your trip to Hawaii is when the crowds are here. Hawaii is a very popular destination for families so anytime of year when kids are out of school is a popular time to visit: summer months, spring break and the holidays (mid-December-January 4).

So. When to avoid crowds and enjoy the best of our spectacular weather? My recommendation is always October. The summer crowds have left, airlines deals usually abound, lower rates are available in hotels and best of all, the weather is almost always perfect. The water is still warm from the warm summer days and the October evenings are warm and lush without being too humid. Just the way you imagine Hawaii. If October isn't the month for you, then consider late January or early February. You might experience a little more rain, but as a trade-off, you may also experience some of our more amazing winter visitors: the whales.

Hawaii is the closest paradise to the mainland, regardless of when you come, you'll enjoy the beauty and culture of Hawaii.
